Within the past 4 years, I was overworked, sleep deprived, and had anxiety issues, my mental health was in shambles. I felt restless and tired every day. I took every sleep and anxiety medication but it didn't help and it gave me bad side effects. Not only was I sleep deprived but also had horrible flare-ups (Eczema) as well, have to admit I wasn't taking care of myself as I should have. After researching and learning about how warm baths are linked to decreases in stress hormones and more balanced serotonin levels, which help regulate mood. I decided that is time for me to put myself first starting with a self-care day once a week. Taking warm baths not only helps me approve my sleep and skin issues but also helps me with my mental health. Always remember to take time to do what makes your soul happy.
